ITINERARY:

08.00-08.30: Our tour guide and driver pick you up at your hotel in the pick up point.

You will go visit 5 places:

1. Tran Quoc Pagoda: more than 1500 years old, which means the place holds such an important role in the development of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular.

2. Ho Chi Minh Complex: one of the most historic tourist attractions in Vietnam. Being there, travelers can learn numerous things about Uncle Ho’s life, together with the Vietnamese liberation process under his lead. For the first time traveling to this complex, people are suggested to visit:

Ba Dinh Square (where Vietnamese First Independence Day was celebrated)
Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (where still holds the embalmed remains of Uncle Ho),
Ho Chi Minh Museum
Ho Chi Minh’s stilt House.
The Presidential Palace (White House of Vietnam)
One Pillar Pagoda

3. Temple of Literature: The Imperial Academy, which was considered as the first university in Vietnam, opened for about 700 years and educated hundreds of well-known scholars and mandarins. Despite continuous wars and disasters, the Temple of Literature retained its precious architectural and cultural value.

4. Hoa Lo Prison: well-known as one of the most inhumane prisons with terrified punishment, Hoa Lo Prison, aka Maison Centrale, is a symbol of strong will of prisoners and their sacrifice for their communist ideals.

5. Museum of Ethnology: The mission of the Museum is to collect, document, research, preserve and exhibit the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation’s different ethnic groups. In its future planning, the Museum intends to present the cultures and civilization of other countries in South-East Asia and in the region as well.

Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed every Monday and Friday. Military Museum may be replaced if you join this tour on these 2 days.
